Job Summary:

Operates CT scanning imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient population(s) served: Imaging with and without contrast of cardio-pulmonary, vascular, neuro , GI, GU, GYN, skeletal/muscular conditions and diseases including but not limited to: PVD, CVA/TIA, COPD, CHF, HNP, oncology, etc.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology. Must obtain minimum CEU’s bi-annually to maintain registration.
• BLS required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross) or within 30 days of your date of hire.
• Advanced-level certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT preferred. Other documented CT training, state licenses and certifications may also suffice.
• Two years experience in Radiology preferred with additional training in CT modality.
